A Focused Journey: Finding a focus on the other side of 50.

I believe everyone’s life has a purpose. We are here to discover that purpose then use whatever gifts were bestowed upon us to make this world a better place. Some of us are fortunate as we know at an early age what that purpose is. Others, well, we go along, often digressing from the road that will take us there. This is me. Now on the other side of 50, I am finding my way back to that road that will lead to my life’s purpose. Welcome to my journey.

WOYWW: A Christmas mess!

My desk is cluttered with an odd assortment of Christmas and winter this week. Yes, I finally got out my Christmas crafting containers. I was forced to as I am hosting several swaps; Christmas tag and rolo swaps and Winter Solstice tag and rolo swaps. The plastic box on my desk is full of paper, ribbon, and ephemera for a Winter Blues art journal.. Once Christmas is past I will get back to working on it.

One thing I learned from this group is that I love coloring stamps! I purchased these two last year because they just made me smile. I use Prismacolor markers and Sukura Stardust Gellyroll pens. Nothing fancy or expensive but work great for my limited needs. I must admit, I don't like hand cutting them out. Too tedious! Will have pictures of them next week.

A word about commenting: because of the time difference, I post then have to get ready for work so I often have limited time to visit and comment until I get home. If I have had a bad day (most days) I avoid visiting simply because when I'm grouchy, my comments tend to be curt. So I visit on the weekend when I am more relaxed and pleasant.

Really fun stamps. And they do make one smile. I totally understand about visiting WOYWW desks. I get involved with reading the comments so it takes me longer and my times vary, seems some weeks I just cannot get too many done. Have fun keeping busy and Happy WOYWW

Very cute stamps... the snowman in particular is soo sweet. Comment when you can ... I don't even have an excuse for curt comments :( I just take the week to slowly get around and say hello.
