She began this
week’s practice with a blank page, gluing down black and white tissue
paper. Not having any tissue paper that
would give the desired pattern I opted for scrapbook paper.
The carnage. Not that bad this week.
I like how the black and white paper shows through the paint.
Noticing
- When I opened my MEANSTREAK stick it was dried and sticky, not usable. It wasn’t that long ago I bought it so will have to keep track if this happens with the new one I got out.
- Once again I have more paint on the page than she does. I watch her scrape it off and I think to myself "I just painted it on there!" I need to force myself to work on this as it does look better with less paint. I also think the thinner paper of my journal and having to put gesso down changes how the page accepts paint.

where having paint under the fingernails is the norm. What colors are under yours?
Fabulous spread, like the bright colours just now when here we have such gray weather.
