What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 265

I am still on an organizing kick and the dining room table seems to be the best place to spread things out.  This week I have been sorting and organizing all the ephemera that seems to have taken on a life of its own.  I do buy some; mostly specific to a journal or swap I am working on.  A large portion of it is gifted through other swaps.  Swappers enjoy throwing in extras in the swap envies they send. Gradually, all of it adds up.

I also organized the drawer full of left over scrapbook papers.  It went from this to this:

Swapping:

Here are the things I've been working on:

Glittery ATC: All that glitters

Letter D Rolo (Global): D is for dream

ATC of ABCs: #4 "D"

APC's: 10s

ATC of ABCs: #3 "C": Time spent with cats

6x6 pages: Favorite Song Lyrics (front side)

6x6 pages: Favorite Song Lyrics (back side)
ATC Senders choice #11
I shared this ATC with you last week.  For some reason I had difficulty figuring out how to finish it.  Adding a tassel seemed the only way to add to it without detracting from the texture of the base.

Sneaking peeks at other’s creative spaces at What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday  Won’t you join in on the fun!  We would love to see what’s on your work desk!

  1. Looks like you've been really busy. I particularly like your glittery ATC. I'm a sucker for vintage typescript.
    Have a fun week

  2. Wow that is a lot of free swapping paper. But I know what you mean. My Daughter dose ATC's and gets lots of little scraps and yes it adds up. BUt looks like you did great getting all condensed down. Thanks for the peek and I really really like your playing card one, that's just to cool. Thanks again. Bert 69

  4. Hi Diane, I was interested to read what you said about LIfe's purpose.
I consider myself to have been very lucky though some of it was determination, I have spent my working life teaching others how to create and now I am retired I have the chance to teach myself and who knows perhaps a few of my visitors too, it's just great.
I truely hope you enjoy your crafting, journey, Angela x #48

  6. Hello Diane! Thanks for popping by my blog earlier & sorry it has taken so long to get back to you! I recently had a good sort out too and then came to use something I had given away ... typical!!! I have loved looking at your ATC's ... made my first one EVER for the WOYWW 5th anniversary and they caused me SO much stress and at one stage I had the lot of them in the bin - until a friend assured me they were just fine. Not sure I will be making any more but am delighted now by my growing collection of everyone's little pieces of art and am honoured to have them. Happy WOYWW'ing! Love Debbie xXx

  7. Sorry Diane it's me again! Forgot to say that yes, Tim Holtz does ribbon ... it comes beautifully flat wound onto a card and the beauty of it is you then spritz and squirt and ink it and then scrunch it up and it dries all crinkly and crumpled ... I am addicted to it! Love Debbie xXx
