After a month of work, it’s finally done and shipped off to
its new owner. All that is left is
cleaning up my desk for the next project.
I have decided to not participate in anymore full journal swaps until I
have had a chance to work on the 5 I have lying in wait for me to create for
myself. I also put off working in my art
journals which I need to get back to.

ReplyDeleteWOW! A full journal swap! I've swapped hand made journals, that are blank inside, but never anything quite as ambushes as this.
ReplyDeleteWould love to swap ATCs with you. shoot me an email and I'll send you my info.

wow what a journal, I used to do swaps all the time, although it was good because you always learnt something from someone elses work, you would always be constantly on the go for the next swap and never really do anything serious for yourself. Maybe you are at this point too for a little while whilst you catch up. Love the journal also thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteI would love to swap with you. email me your details and I will return mine then.

Gosh FULL journal swaps that must have been hard work and I don't blame you for giving it a rest for now. Glitter Paste is by Pinflair but there is also something called Sparkle Medium which I think is a gel but looks similar. As for the harp I had it for my 50th birthday a few months ago, life must begin after 50yrs methinks - LOL. Thanks for the visit BJ#77
ReplyDeleteOoo! That journal swap sounds like a lot of hard work. Well done you. I don't think I could do it as I wouldn't want to part with it once finished.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment about my dress. Looking forward to having it finished, and for the sun to return.

I love seeing your desk. It always makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that I found my way to visit you today. I wouldn't have wanted to miss the video of the beautiful journal you crafted. I especially love that the journal contains some of your photography - and such variety or techniques and textures! Yes, you deserve to make the next one for yourself! It is clear that you love the process of making - the proof is in every page!
ReplyDeleteFinally getting time to visit! It always feels good when projects are done! But yes, swaps can get quite encompassing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my desk, have a great Memorial Day!
Thanks for your visit earlier - I think I am a multi-tasker but I know I am impatient!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you are going to finish your own journals - we are very important and can spend all OUR time doing for others, instead of ourselves.
