On the road, enjoying time away from the stress of the classroom. This is the first morning I've been able to do any kind of art or writing. When on road trips it seems one is always on the go, never landing in one place long enough to breathe and just "be". I brought my travel journal with me but have not had time to work in it. I can't work/create in the car; I envy those who can.
I created these before embarking on this trip:

6x6 journal pages swap |
I somehow got the same partner again in March so I tried to create pages from her profile without repeating the same design. She listed several of her favorite songs which I used to create the page on the bottom right.

Purple flower flourish |
The series continues. Turquoise is next. I am in search for some different flower stamps to add variety. Most of the ones I have found aren't the right size for these small sized card, either too big or too tiny.
Today we have another full day planned. Hoping to have some quite down time Thursday and Friday to edit photos and work in that travel journal.

Hi there...! Enjoy the travels! Love your journal. I am new to art journaling and found I love it. When traveling, how much supplies and what kind do you take for your journaling?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Now if messy desks are fun (which they really are) , then I am having a super duper FUN time. LOL

Lovely pages - your partner will really appreciate them. Must pop back, when I've visited the remaining WOYWWs today, for a good nosy round your blog. Have a great week, Chris # 35
