What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday

Do you find that stress squashes your creativity?  Teacher performance portfolios are due next week so I find myself feeling guilty spending time creating when I should be slaving away at the keyboard.  While I did cut back in participating in swaps, I still had the monthly series I needed to complete and a spring journal to create.

I showed you the jar of hearts last week, here is the completed ATC:

 Altered Playing Cards – 7’s

When I finish these cards they just seemed flat & boring so I scouted the stores for some charms to add.  Found these colored flowers at Hobby Lobby in the jewelry section.  They added the needed punch I was looking for without distracting from the quotes.  

Blue Flower Flourish

I found some die cut ATC’s at Hobby Lobby and decided to see how they would look using them in the colored flower series.  They were fussier to cut out when applying the backing.  I am not fond of this new flower I used; it looks cheap - won’t be using it again.
