Working in my Listen to my Heart journal. Inspiration came from the Yogi tea bag quote. This past week was especially difficult with state count and a full moon.
Being bombarded by negativity, anger, and noise all day every day makes it difficult to hear or feel much of anything other than frustration.
Working in this journal allows to me to let go of the week, hang on to the few moments that were positive, and capture the messages my heart was sending me.
Noticing: As I worked with the layering for this page I noticed being more intuitive when bringing together the colors, papers and textures. I did less thinking about how to layer it and more on what felt right. A small success in my goal in creating soul inspired art rather than art inspired by what other's create.
How are your art goals coming along? Have you kept them in the forefront, working on them a little each week or have you let them slip behind other things that seemed to have taken over? Let me know so we can encourage one another.

I love this one as well!
ReplyDeleteThe layering, the quote - just super!
It's always difficult to find the time to create all the things that are in my head....
one after the other is the way for me.
