Scavenging for photos for Scavenger Hunt Sunday

1.        See.  Sea. C.
Can you guess what happened here?

Some little boy got too curious and touched one of these!  Have no Fear!  Dad to the rescue!

2.      Chair
Want this chair.  Love this chair but alas, no place to put it.

Found at Hobby Lobby.  Love the patchwork fabric.
3.  Symmetry
Ever have one of those, “I should’ve had a V8”moment s?  I’ve been banging my head trying to figure out where I could go to take a photo for symmetry.  I knew the art museum would have something but I just wasn’t in the mood to drive that far for one photo (the cold & 50mph winds will tend to make you wanna stay inside these days).  I got up this morning to write this post, still thinking about that last photo.  So when in doubt Google the word and look for ideas in the photos.  BAM!  The photo has been waiting quietly all along sitting in my magazine basket next to my chair.

I color these to relieve stress, especially when my students make me want to tear my hair out.
 4. Blanket
If you want a blanket in this house you will have to fight for it.  These guys own the place, we just live here!

5. Giggle
Babies and children giggle, adults laugh.  Getting a photo for “giggle” is problematic when there are no children in the home.  What to do?  Go out in public and “borrow” someone’s.  This little guy was smitten with the Koi in the pond.  Me; I was holding my breath thinking, “Don’t drop him in the pond.  Put that coffee down so you don’t drop him in the pond!”

Enjoying another week scavenging for photos for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

  2. These are such creative ideas! I fell in a cactus when I was a child and still have a little fear of them! Love the coloring and the little boy and the fish is so cute!

  3. Ooh, how many little people have been pricked by cactus over the years. I do the same sort of coloring from time to time. I love it. We have the same issue with blankets in our house with the dogs. Sometimes there is not enough to go around.

  4. Oh my ouch! I know the feeling, as once on a walk in the desert a biting ant, bit me so hard that I stumbled into one of those with the same foot, and after that, no more sandals in the desert! Looks like you all had a fun time anyway. Great photos, and my doggies are keeping warm too!

  5. I like that chair too. I like the closeup of the cat head-such detailed markings on her head.

  6. I love that chair. It looks comfy as well as the eye appeal. I believe I can see the fight in the black cat's eyes. Is he/she daring you to try for the blanket? The little boy with the goldfish is adorable.

  8. Oh my. What would we do without blankets? Soft blankets are a good thing.

  9. I do love that chair! The patchwork fabric is so lovely. My animals are the same way with blankets. We have to fight them for blankets around here!
